6.5 lb. apples
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon vanilla
½ cup sugar
½ cup brown sugar
Peel, core and slice apples into chunks. Put in your slow cooker with sugars, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla. Mix well.
Cook on low for 8-10 hours, stirring occasionally until apples break down and thicken becoming dark brown. When the consistency has become more of puree, use a hand mixer to smooth out any remaining chunks.
